HETERO, based on the work of DENIS LACHAUD
From the actor, director, dramaturg and french novelist Denis Lachaud’s work HETERO, this play approaches with wit the sexuality theme, through the baffling and excentric voices of its characters. This would be the first of four directed readings that Teatro do Eléctrico would present in the Centro LGBT/ILGA, once a month till December.

O ENSAIO, based on the work of COPI
This is a comic piece, constructed through Copi’s work, that dilutes the borders dividing the imagination and the stereotypes driven by and from the colective’s unconsciousness, by establishing an acid humouristic travesty from the day-a-day reality to the ends of extravagance.

OCTÁVIO, based on the work of Vitoriano Braga
Octávio, play written in 1913 that premiered in Teatro Nacional D. Maria II in 1916, was the target of some disaproaval by the audience and the critics for its “repugnantly indecent approach of the matter”, and alongside the poor attendance of spectators, it resulted on its short time on stage of only six days. At a time where various themes were targetted with prejudice, the author adresses questions as that of  Octávio’s disguised homossexuality.

A VISITA, based on the work of COPI
