Sara and Rodrigo are a couple, but they also have lovers.
In their intimacy, seemingly full of complicity and love, yet far removed from social norms, they discovered different ways of relating, keeping desire alive and filling their daily lives with challenges and conflicts.
Harold Pinter’s The Lover is the starting point for the new creation of the Mákina de Cena, inviting an atypical immersion into the marital lives of others, their tensions and reflections of love and passion, where everything is questionable and humanity emerges from lies and eroticism. Operating in a dimension of strangeness and eventual modesty, the spectator-voyeur is invited to reflect on their own experiences and the state of their erotic-loving relationships.
