It´s a show directed to the a more juvenile audience, wich puts on stage the humour present in the less obvious works of a variety of portuguese authors, like Alexandre O’Neil, Ary dos Santos, Camilo Castelo Branco, Fernando Pessoa, Gil Vicente, João Garcia de Guilhade and Natália Correia.
This project has as its purpose the celebration of the work of portuguese authors from the 15th century to the 21st century, where the flexibility of the spoken word, the rythmic games and the musical component will serve as the foundation to the storie’s unravelling of two lovers, who defy eachother, in a bundle of mistakes and unforseen happenings that take place during the action.
The dramaturgical evolucion will also be pointing towards the transformation that has taken over the Portuguese language over the centuries, reflecting about the distance that binds the Galaic-Portuguese to today’s Portuguese language.
The show’s presentation assumes the experience of proximity between the action on stage and the spectator, therefore it should take place inside a classroom, for just one class per session.
Afterwards a conversation is held with the students and a small workshop is given on Theater Inniciation, to which we also invite the teachers to participate.
