Adília’s cats play with her cockroaches. Her cockroaches survive Cinderella’s villainy. Just like the phone books survived. Cockroaches aren’t for eating. Phone books aren’t for eating. Geckos are for eating, but alive, if we want to do what we like in life. We swallow geckos. We don’t swallow frogs or princes. Adília plays with words, plays with ideas. Adília crochets, crochet makes Adília, and in that she unravels. And Super Mario turns 40.
